Founder
How many other Flints have you met in your life? Most people tell me I’m the first. I’ve been involved with dogs my whole life with my family and now been in professional pet care since August of 2019. They say the best jobs are the ones you never work a day, and I truly believe that. I have a passion for what I do, and I know that no one else can beat me at what I do because I have an incredible amount of fun doing what I do.
Being able to meet new people and their unique pets is always exciting. I have experience with all sizes of dogs and will care for your pet as if they are my own. Everything I do, I would do for my own pet.
I learned from schooling that teaching in small groups is incomparable to large, public settings. Your animals deserve the same attention that they always get from you, and my small and more private sessions allows that. Therefore, I limit the number of dogs I walk down to four, excluding my big girl, Lizzie
Elizabeth is my sweet German Shepherd, who always has a blast making a new friend. She was trained solely by me as I self-taught myself the many skills and techniques learned from books and other professional dog trainers. Hiring me as your personal pet sitter, dog walker or trainer, means a committed, communicative, and caring professional is there for you and your pet.
The Legacy of Rome: The Meaning Behind the TIERS
The Roman Empire was one of the most powerful civilizations in history, known for its military strength, strategic brilliance, and vast territorial expansion. The names of our tiers are inspired by the hierarchy within the Roman military and imperial system, reflecting the order, discipline, and prestige that defined Rome.
Recruit (Tirones)
A Recruit was a new soldier undergoing rigorous training before earning a place in the ranks of the Roman legions. These men had to prove themselves through intense physical conditioning, weapons training, and discipline before becoming full-fledged legionaries.
Legionnaire (Legionarius)
A Legionnaire was the backbone of the Roman army, serving as a professional soldier in one of Rome’s legendary legions. Equipped with a short sword (gladius), a shield (scutum), and armor, legionnaires fought in tightly organized formations, making them nearly unbeatable on the battlefield. Their discipline and endurance allowed Rome to expand and defend its vast empire.
Centurion (Centurio)
A Centurion was a commanding officer in the Roman army, leading a century of approximately 80 men. These leaders were known for their battlefield experience, authority, and tactical knowledge. Centurions often led from the front, setting an example for their troops and playing a crucial role in maintaining order and discipline within the ranks.
Praetorian (Praetoriani)
The Praetorian Guard was an elite unit that served as the personal bodyguard of Roman emperors. Unlike standard soldiers, Praetorians were stationed in Rome itself, wielding political influence and often playing a key role in imperial succession. They were among the most well-paid and privileged soldiers in the empire, enjoying benefits that set them apart from the regular legions.
Imperator
The title Imperator was originally used to honor victorious Roman generals, but it later became synonymous with the emperor himself. The Imperator was the supreme ruler of Rome, commanding vast armies and governing the empire with absolute authority. Figures such as Julius Caesar, Augustus, and Trajan carried this title, shaping the course of Western history.
Through discipline, strategy, and ambition, the Roman military and leadership structure helped shape one of the greatest empires the world has ever known.
